For my reddit secret santa this year I wanted to make something original. Something that hasn’t been done before. Nowhere I was able to find a snoo cookie cutter or pictures of Snoo cookies. So this was a hole that needed to be filled in the internet.

For this cookie cutter I started off with the original reddit logo and imported it in inkscape some swearing and inscape magic later I had something which I was able to import in FreeCAD.

The recipe for the cooking dough has to be one that doesn’t change in shape while baking.

Here is the one I used:

  • 200 gram sugar
  • 200 gram butter
  • 1 egg
  • 400 gram flour
  1. Mix all ingredients for 7 minutes.
  2. Knead into a ball.
  3. Put into the fridge for 2 hours
  4. Roll the dough flat and cut into shapes
  5. Bake in the oven at 180°c
  6. For 8-20 minutes depending on the thickness
